My Chopsticks Bra - Japanese Lingerie

On November 7, lingerie maker Triumph International Japan unveiled the “My Chopsticks Bra,” which features a pair of cups that resemble bowls of rice and miso soup, and a set of collapsible chopsticks that tuck into either side. The My Chopsticks Bra is the latest addition to Triumph’s line of concept lingerie designed to boost awareness of environmental issues. Triumph unveils the My Chopsticks Bra as Japanese consumers are becoming more aware of the negative impact that disposable chopsticks have on the environment. While it is becoming increasingly trendy for people to reduce waste by carrying around their own reusable chopsticks, Japanese consumers still go through an estimated(90,000 tons) of disposable chopsticks each year, which amounts to 200 pairs per person.

Triumph lingerie model Yuko Ishida, who ordinarily carries around a pair of her own chopsticks, says she hopes people think of the environment when they see this bra, adding that “the chopsticks on the sides help add a little extra volume to your bust.”

While Americans were getting shitfaced and grilling up sausages this past weekend, Japan was contemplating the future of an extremely important national resource:
At the Japanese final of the Triumph Inspiration Awards, students of Tokyo’s BunkaCollege outfitted a crew of models in the country’s most innovative undergarment designs. The winner, Midori Matsuo (whose design is seen on the third model from the right), will be going to Beijing on July 31 for the international final, where her skimpies will go head to head with entries from 29 other countries.

This special spot in the Pali rainforest in Hawaii has contributed many of my favorite photos to my albums. The overcast sky provided diffused light which matches the peaceful, melancholy mood of this photo. The large rock has a slightly rough look against the beauty of the model. I asked the model to lay on the rock as comfortably and naturally as she could to achieve a not forcefully posed photo. Sometimes I adjust the “natural pose” if something does not look right but sometimes it is good to give up that total control and just let things unfold.

It is a good idea to find out from the model during the first meeting or phone interview which type of photo session she prefers: more or less direction. Some models want to be directed as much as possible regarding poses and facial expressions. I find that a big turn off because it usually means lack of improvisation skills, lack of ease in front of the camera, lack of self confidence, lack of talent and lack of personality. This photo looks good in both color or black and white but I prefer the BW for its intimacy effect.

Japanese lingerie maker Triumph International showcased a bra whose cup padding unfolds to become a handheld shopping bag. Aimed at discouraging Japanese from using environmentally-unfriendly plastic shopping bags, the patented bra is Triumph's latest attempt to link its products with social issues. Last year it introduced a brassiere that can be heated in a microwave oven to keep the wearer cosy while saving energy.

The Hawaiian islands have more diverse locations in close proximity of each other than anywhere else on earth so the choices for locations are truly abundant.

What are lacking in Hawaii: professional (as in attitude), beautiful, intelligent models or model wanna be’s. This may sound harsh but happens to be true in my opinion. I prefer quality over quantity therefore I tried never to compromise and shoot someone at someplace I was not 100% inspired by. Most of my models are first time or amateur models, those without experience are more natural in front of the camera with truer emotions.

Solar Powered Liquor Storing Lingerie

Japanese lingerie manufacture Triumph has just introduced solar powered lingerie. Now you might ask yourself, why do I need electric power in my bra? To power the mini electric sign on the front, natch. And since you’d probably have to be a little wasted out of your gourd tipsy to wear a messaging bra, the padding in the bra’s cup can be used to store alcohol which you can drink by inserting a straw into your bra. So there you have it, the liquor storage solar powered bra.
